ROOT Dog Training strives to give each team the best training class environment and personalized attention in every class. Class size is limited to 8 dogs or less, depending on the class.

Our  Good Dog School Classes are part of our on-going, rolling enrollment program.  What that means to you is there is no waiting to start  class for you and your dog! You can start anytime once you have  attended our weekly orientations. Good Dog School classes are separated by  age and then by skill level. All ROOT Dog Training classes are in a dog friendly, positive training environment with a focus on clicker training. The use of punishment and aversive collars such as choke, prong, pinch or shock/e-collars is not permitted in any of ROOTʼs classes.

Good Dog Grade School
Do you have a new rescue dog?

Maybe you have a dog that has not gone to training but is over 6 months old? Fear not you can still train that rowdy rover, it’s never too late to start training!  Good Dog Grade School initially focuses on learning to manage, and control your dog's energy, enthusiasm and exuberance by teaching control, calmness and attention. Then teaching basic manners becomes a breeze and is fun for both you and your dog. This class will give you the opportunity to learn how to train basic dog skills so your dog can become a good doggy citizen and you can be an active participant in their training. Donʼt let your Wrigley, Bailey, Bella or Payton become the next Marley.
Class is offered Wednesdays at 7pm and Saturdays at 11:30am
***Note that starting June 20th the Wednesday class will be at 8:15pm.***

Then this is your class to reign you tweeny dog in and put then on the road to a Rhodes Scholarship!  Middle School Mutts is for dogs that have had basic training but either have “forgotten” it or never had it polished to begin with. We will focus on getting your dog to listen the first time, gain some much needed control and make it fun for everyone.
