Puppy Consultation
Puppy Consultation is a service that ROOT provides to help today’s busy family find the best dog for them. The process starts with interviews of the family to better determine what type of puppy or dog is best for them. Once a few breeds have been narrowed down to a list, ROOT will locate local owners and breeders to arrange visits to meet the breed. Then when one breed is decided on, ROOT will research breeders to help locate a puppy or dog to add to your family.
Depending on the location of the pups, ROOT can accompany you in visiting the puppies. Before the new dog arrives, ROOT will come to your home to help you dog proof, pick out appropriate toys, housing, and food, and will start training you on how to train your soon to arrive new dog. Once the dog arrives, one in-home visit/training session is included in the price.
This service also applies to shelter dogs. ROOT will travel and work with local shelters to find the appropriate dog for you.
